Newton's Laws
1st Law:
Every object remains in a state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless forces act on it to change that state.
2nd Law:
When a force of F newtons acts on an object of mass m kg, it produces an acceleration of a ms-2 given by F=ma.
Try to work through the example questions systematically to see how the methods are built up and I hope that this should serve as a foundation for similar examples.
